The Salutation garden and its restoration with Head Gardener Steve Edney
Wednesday 31 March, 5.30 for 6pm
Join Steve Edney former Head Gardener of the Salutation, Sandwich in Kent for a talk about the garden restoration he led via a five year working plan. Steve is a hands on gardener so we can hope to explore how he gardened in a four-acre coastal walled garden with silty soil, high sunshine hours and one of the lowest rainfalls in the country, where he used plants from Mediterranean regions and relied on drought tolerant plants. The event is free and will start at 5.30 for a social interaction between members before the talk at 6pm. Please note that bookings will close 48 hours before the scheduled event. Book now |

One of these will be finalised and notified to members when Covid regulations allow. Picture shows an infinity pool near the sea in one of the Corfu gardens. |
