Mediterranean Plants and Gardens
Mediterranean Plants and Gardens is a not-for-profit association for people with particular interest in the plants of Mediterranean climate zones. It embraces concepts of sustainable gardening such as matching plant species intelligently to their environment and giving particular attention to economical use of water. Members enjoy varied trips botanising in Mediterranean climates and also visits to gardens, many of which are rarely open to the public. Recent trips include Jordan, Provence and the Peloponnese. Future trips will include visits to Rome and the Drakensberg mountains of South Africa. There are regular events in the UK - do follow our link to Events coming up to see up to the minute details all our events as they are arranged.
