Delos Garden, Sissinghurst Castle Garden

Troy Scott Smith, head gardener at the National Trust Sissinghurst Castle Garden in Kent will talk about the recently redesigned Delos Garden. The concept arose from Vita Sackville-West and her husband Harold Nicholson’s visit to the Greek island. Troy will explore the history and explain how this exciting project to reimagine the garden progressed from 2013. We will learn how Delos fits in with their vision for the entire garden and the new design, construction, planting choices and aftercare for the plants. MPG plans to organise a trip to the garden later this year.
