Experiments at Great Dixter and a collaboration with Nezahat Gokyigit Garden, Istanbul, Turkey

Winter Lecture – Saturday 15 January 2022 10.30 for 11.00am via Zoom

We are pleased to advise that Fergus Garrett, head gardener at the Great Dixter garden in East Sussex will be the guest speaker for the annual winter lecture. Fergus will discuss layering experiments at Dixter using a range of plants from all over the world including many Mediterranean plants. A member of the team from the Nezahat Gokyigit Botanic Garden will join Fergus to talk about the garden and their joint projects including a border of just Turkish species.It promises to be a very interesting talk looking at plant selections.

The first 30 minutes of the morning will be spent updating members on MPG activities, followed by the lecture.
